Ratcliffe power station created my love for cooling towers through nostalgia. Every journey throughout my childhood Ratcliffe was the end.

Ratcliffe was the first set of towers I photographed and the first set of towers I used redscale on so full of fond firsts. I love the towers and keep returning mainly due to nostalgia and the awesome architecture and size but also due to the urgency as they are set to be demolished and classed as architecture at risk by the C20 society.
